I'm a published poet. I read quite a lot of nonfiction, a small amount of sci-fi and enjoy lectures and podcasts spanning topics from mindfulness to quantum physics to entheogens.

If you're a traveler to my city, can I show you some of the best secrets in this wonderful place (especially my favorite spots for trees, Cuban food and up-high city views)? I'm pretty into my '88 volvo wagon (oh so Portland sigh). I like canoeing on cloudy days, lizard deck lounging on sunny ones and I feel most myself (ie. powerful and freeeeee) being on the road for weeks at a time with a very, very light bag. I've traveled to a good many places (but never enough!). My favorite earth portals are an ancient grove of Northern California redwood trees, the north shore of Kauai and the French/Spanish border high in the Pyrenees.
