I began cuddling when I separated from my wife of almost 20 years. Immediately after the separation, I had a very poor image of myself and felt very alone. Soon, I realized that I was missing and craving the physical connection derived from physical touch. I had always associated touch with intimacy, but I was coming to understand that I was missing the connection of touch.

I attended several cuddle parties and, while it was difficult at first, it helped me understand the true nature of platonic touch, and I began to see the benefits of it.
