Empathy. My ability to dicern what others are feeling drives me in most aspects of my life. I've worked various jobs and the strongest point outlined by my previous employers and colleagues across the board was undeniably my interpersonal skills. I have a deep rooted love for humanity. It helps that I personally identify with physical touch as a love language. I cannot begin to imagine myself without the boost of endorphins obtained through cuddles received in my day to day life. Hugs in general benefit humans both mentally and physically. Research shows that hugs play an active role in strengthening our immune systems. The Idea of just offering that for someone is gratifying in of itself. Why would I want a job where I get to platonically experience human connection with various individuals?
