I am a Social Worker by profession and have 20 years of crisis intervention and advocacy experience. I have been providing and teaching platonic cuddling therapy to individuals and couples for 3 years. For the past 15 years I have been studying many different forms of energy healing, mediation, and yoga. I am a Licensed Reiki Master, and certified mediation and yoga instructor.
I am a very spiritual woman who has spiritually connected with nature with the ability to see the natural beauty and power of the physical body and touch. I also know that there is factual medical research that backs up the benefits of nurturing intimate embrace and touch. When cuddling, we receive a jolt of oxytocin. There is a transfer of positive energy from one human to the other and we feel safer and supported. I believe that cuddling is also a form of energy healing and when combined with the healing touch of reiki can be very healing emotionally and physically. It helps take care of the complete person covering the needs of mind, body and spirit.
